There’s much ado when you join the Welcome To The Renaissance After-School Broadway Intensive! SOMETHING ROTTEN! is coming to Dayton as part of Victoria Theatre Association’s Premier Health Broadway Series and you don’t want to miss learning about the sage of the age, the lark in the park, the wiz of the Elizabethan stage — Shakespeare. The Welcome To The Renaissance After-School Broadway Intensive is a performance-based intensive for students in grades 7-12 who want to expand their skills in comedy, music, and acting. It’s freakin’ awesome!
This Broadway Intensive is open to any student currently in grades 7-12 who is interested in the performing arts and wants to learn more. Previous theatre, music, or dance experience is not required.
Participants will work with theatre professionals, and SOMETHING ROTTEN! company members when possible, in master classes filled with the magic of comedy, music, and verse! Our work will culminate in an informance for family and friends on the final day. Participants will also receive a ticket to the Thursday evening (March 22) performance of SOMETHING ROTTEN!, dinner each evening, a T-shirt, and the opportunity to create and share their work with an audience of friends and family.
Monday-Friday, March 19-23, 2018
Space is limited to the first 30 students who register and pay in full.
There are limited scholarships available.
