E.B. White’s loving story of the friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a little gray spider named Charlotte comes to life in CHARLOTTE’S WEB. Wilbur has a problem: how to avoid winding up in the slaughterhouse. Enter Charlotte, a fine writer and a true friend, who assures Wilbur she will save him. Charlotte hits on a plan to fool Farmer Zuckerman – she will create a “miracle.” Spinning the words “Some Pig” in her web, Charlotte weaves a solution which not only makes Wilbur a prize pig, but ensures his place on the farm forever. This treasured tale, featuring mad-cap and endearing farm animals, explores bravery, selfless love, and the true meaning of friendship.

Book Drive!

Victoria Theatre Association — in partnership with Project READTeradata Cares, and City Day Community School — is pleased to announce the READ ACROSS AMERICA BOOK DRIVE. As further illustration of our commitment to education and to quality of life in our community, VTA will be collecting new or gently used books for grades PreK-8. VTA hopes to collect a book for every seat in the Victoria Theatre — 1,154 books! Follow us on Facebook (@VictoriaTheatreAssociation), Instagram (@VTADayton) and Twitter (@VictoriaTheatre) to see how the theatre fills up with books!

Collection bins will be located at the Schuster Center, Victoria Theatre, and Teradata beginning January 20 with VTA’s Morris Furniture Co. Family Series presentation of MR. POPPER’S PENGUINS at the Victoria Theatre. On March 2, some of the books collected will be delivered to City Day Community School with each student going home with a book of their very own. Additional books will be donated to Project READ.
