Based On The Books By Arnold Lobel

This whimsical musical follows two great friends — the cheerful, popular Frog and the curmudgeonly Toad. Through four, fun-filled seasons, the two meet new friends like Man Bird and Lady Bird; Father, Mother and Young Frog; Turtle, Squirrel and many more along the way. Waking from hibernation in the spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in their differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make-believe, all charm, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD tells the story of a friendship that endures, weathering all seasons. Produced by Casa Mañana.

Workshop

Frog and Toad’s friendship is put to the test as they live through the four seasons. Although full of excitement and fun, the four seasons present different challenges for  these two friends to overcome. In this science-based workshop with a Boonshoft  Museum of Discovery staff member, students will explore specific characteristics of the  four seasons and how frogs, toads, and humans all manage to overcome the challenges that come with the changing weather.

Each one-hour workshop is $100 and is limited to 25 students. Workshops are customizable, available year-round, and able to travel to your school for an additional fee.

If you are interested in scheduling a workshop, or would like more information, please call 937-228-7591, ext. 3039.
