Sip, Savor & Celebrate

Support the Ken and Lesley Neufeld Innovative Programming Fund and join us as we Sip, Savor and Celebrate with the Neufelds, thanking them for their vision, service and friendship. Proceeds from this event benefit a new, innovative programming fund in honor of Ken and Lesley.

Wear festive summer attire* and enjoy an evening filled with music featuring Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter John Paul White and local favorite Snapp and Clarke, memorable fare and a vibe as lively as the wines!

John Paul White is a singer-songwriter who resides in Florence, Ala. As one-half of the critically acclaimed The Civil Wars, he toured the world and introduced millions to his music. The duo also won the 2011 Grammy Awards for Best Folk Album and Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Now, together with co-founders Ben Tanner, keyboardist for Alabama Shakes, and Muscle Shoals native Will Trapp, Mr. White runs Single Lock Records, a Florence-based indie label that has released records by some of the Yellowhammer State’s finest, including Dylan LeBlanc, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, and legendary songwriter Donnie Fritts. Mr. White’s latest album, his first solo recording in nearly a decade, is titled Beulah. Released in 2016, it’s an assuredly diverse collection spanning plaintive folk balladry, swampy southern rock, lonesome campfire songs, and dark acoustic pop.

If you can’t attend, but would still like to donate, please call 937-228-3630 or donate online now.

*What is festive summer attire? Sundresses, skirts, khakis or nice jeans, casual button-down shirts/blouse. You can dress fun and casual, or elegant. As long as you are prepared for a summer evening outside!

Ken And Lesley Neufeld Innovative Programming Fund

Ken and Lesley Neufeld Innovative Programming Fund is an endowed fund which will provide Victoria Theatre Association (VTA) with annual resources to develop and present creative new arts experiences to and for the community.

Building creative capacity in our region has been the number one organizational priority under Ken Neufeld’s leadership as VTA’s President & CEO. His belief in the importance of increasing access to creative exploration, particularly for young people, has been evident throughout his tenure at VTA. Over the past 10 years, educational programming has expanded, and engagement activities designed to deepen VTA’s connection with our community have increased.

This endowed fund will be held at The Dayton Foundation, and interest generated will be dedicated to innovative programming for the Dayton region. An internal committee appointed by the VTA Board of Trustees will provide guidance on the use of the funds.

You can donate to the fund by calling 937-228-3630 or donate online now.
