VTA Donor Privacy Policy

VTA is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We will not sell, rent, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

This policy applies to all information received by VTA via electronic, written, or oral communication, including the VTA website and mobile applications.

VTA collects and maintains the following information:

  • contact information including name, organization/company, complete address, phone number, email address
  • donation information including amount donated, date of donation(s), method of payment and purpose of donation
  • donor requests and comments

Credit Card numbers are used only for donation or payment processing and are immediately encrypted.  These can be removed from the VTA system by donor request.

VTA uses donor data to maintain records of donations, send acknowledgements, send newsletters, pre-sales, special offers and direct mail pieces.  We include donors on VTA mailing lists, unless otherwise requested. VTA lists individuals’ names, corporate and foundation sponsors in performance program books. Donors may request anonymity for any contribution made to VTA.

VTA subscribes to the Donor Bill of Rights, created by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Giving Institute: Leading Consultants to Non-Profits.

Please contact us if you wish to be removed from VTA’s donor mailing list.  Email paula.mclaughlin@victoriatheatre.com or call Paula at 937-228-7591, ext. 3018.
