Citilites at the Schuster Center is a full service restaurant and bar, featuring farm-to-table American bistro-style food. Relax and enjoy while you choose from Citilites’ diverse menu, including creations from Executive Chef Matthew DeAngulo. While menus change seasonally, Citilites always offers house-made soups, salad dressings, and desserts, as well as gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Citilites opens 2 1/2 hours before most evening performances and matinees at the Schuster Center and some performances at the Victoria Theatre.

From The Chef's Table

Executive Chef Matt DeAngulo’s innovative style (and strong farm-to-table vibe) comes from his experience as both a head chef and an entrepreneur. Chef Matt’s approach to food is creative and inventive. And, thanks to his relationships with over 70 farmers, his European-style dishes are paired with the best local ingredients available.

On the culinary scene in Dayton for over 25 years, Chef Matt was a key team member in the opening of Olive an Urban Dive. From there he opened Urban Harvest in Clayton. Over the past few years, Chef Matt had been working successfully as a consultant when he was hired as the executive chef at de-NOVO Bistro & Bar in Columbus – an upscale European and American restaurant – as a result of his strong leadership as a consultant.

Now his leadership and cooking expertise will compliment the solid Citilites team. Chef Matt is excited to be back in the Dayton area and is ready to make an impact on Dayton’s culinary scene.
